Job Description:
A company is looking for an Application Support Engineer with a
mainframe focus.
Key Responsibilities
Support daily operations and application uptime across mainframe
systems
Troubleshoot system and application-level issues and resolve abends
and failures
Provide after-hours and on-call support for nightly batch schedules
as needed
Required Qualifications
Strong background in mainframe systems, particularly with batch
processing and job scheduling
Experience monitoring and resolving issues in production and test
environments
Knowledge of COBOL, JCL, and TSO tools for debugging and
support
Able to manage support tasks with little oversight and stay
organized across multiple environments
